Job Title: Youth-Friendly Health Services (YFHS) Officer

Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive, age-appropriate information and services to adolescents and young people
- Participate in organizing training for service providers on Adolescent and Youth-Friendly Health Service Delivery (AYFHS)
- Develop strategies to increase young people’s access to youth-friendly health services.
- Work with the Program Manager to design and implement programmes and activities serving young people.
- Build and maintain relationships with local schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote adolescent and youth-friendly health services.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in AYFHS.
- Prepare timely reports of services provided to the Programme Team Lead
Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria
- Experience working with young people on youth-related health issues and the ability to communicate with youths at their level.
- At least one (1) year of experience in clinical practice with a valid practicing license.
- Familiarity with public health issues, especially as they affect adolescents and young people
