Between September 3 and September 4, 2018, Action Health Incorporated (AHI) conducted a two-day training programme for third party monitors from selected civil society organisations (CSOs) to build their capacity to monitor the National Social Investment Programmes (N-SIPs) in Lagos State.

As part of efforts to improve the health and development of adolescents and young people, the Federal Ministry of Health, with support from the World Health Organisation (WHO), convened a 5-day stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja to review the National Policy on the Health and Development of Adolescents and Young People in Nigeria that was produced in 2007.

Recognizing the vital role that nurses play at the frontline of healthcare service provision to adolescents and youth, staff from Action Health Incorporated (AHI) and AHI's Youth-Friendly Clinic facilitated sessions at the Lagos State Chapter of the Mandatory Continuing Professional Development Programme for Nurses held at the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, Lagos on Thursday, August 16, 2018.

The ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) Young Professional Programme is designed for high calibre young professionals who will not be more than thirty (30) years at the time of recruitment. The selected candidates will be appointed as Young Trainee Professional Staff in the Bank under a two (2)-year fixed term contract.
