Free sexual and reproductive health Services for Young People in Lagos State
In promoting access of young people to Sexual and Reproductive Health Information and Services, Action Health Incorporated (AHI) with support from Champions for Change (C4C) organized a 2 day free Adolescent Youth Friendly Health Service Provision outreach for young people aged 10 – 24 in Ilaje Bariga and Iwaya Yaba Lagos.
Dissemination of the Simplified Oyo State Law Prohibiting Violence Against Women to Stakeholders in Oyo State
Action Health Incorporated (AHI) with support from the United Nations Population Funds (UNFPA) held a two day meeting for key stakeholders in Oyo state to disseminate the simplified version of the Oyo State Violence against Women bill that prohibit violence against women in public and private life, harmful traditional practice.

Expanding Access of Girls and Women to Family Planning Commodities
To expand voluntary access of young girls and women to Family Planning information and services; Action Health Incorporated (AHI) with support from UNFPA implemented a scale-up project on distribution of the DMPA SC (Depot medroxyprojesterone acetate Subcutaneous) contraceptive through community-based outreaches to meet the huge unmet needs of family planning that exist in Akwa Ibom, Abia and Cross River State.
Capacity Building for Healthcare Workers on Management of Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting Complications
With support from the United Nations Population Funds (UNFPA), a three (3) day capacity building training on management of Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting Complications was conducted for seventy seven (77) Health workers from local government with the highest prevalence of FGM/C in Ekiti and Osun State.
Orientation Workshop on AYFHS Provision for Medical Professionals in Training
As part of Action Health Incorporated (AHI) efforts to close the gap in adolescent health service delivery, AHI conducted orientation workshops on Concept and Principles for Provision of Adolescent Youth Friendly Health Service (AYFHS) for 29 Post basic psychiatric/ mental health nurses and 124 penultimate (500) level medical students from Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital Yaba and University of Lagos respectively.
60 Healthcare Providers Trained on GBV Management in Adamawa and Borno State
Sixty Healthcare providers from Adamawa and Borno State were trained in May 2017 on GBV prevention and response services which includes identifying and treating survivors.
120 Young People Empowered AS Peer Educators
Action Health Incorporated with support from Champions for Change (C4C) organized a Five-day Capacity Building Training for One Hundred and Twenty (120) young people from Ilaje Bariga and Iwaya Yaba as Peer Educators on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Adolescent Youth Friendly Health Services.
Orientation Training for Social Workers on GBV and PSEA In Adamawa State
Action Health Incorporated (AHI) with support from United Nations Population Funds organized orientation training for 30 social workers in February 2017 on Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) in host communities and IDP Camps in Adamawa State.
Young People Advocate for Youth Friendly Healthcare Service Provision
A cohort of 30 girls trained as Reproductive Maternal Newborn Adolescent and Child Health (RMNCAH) Champions by Action Health Incorporated carried out community dialogues to raise discourse on the sexual and reproductive health issues faced by young people especially girls in Iwaya Yaba and Ilaje.
