Job Description
Ø Provide comprehensive, age-appropriate information and services to adolescents and young people
Ø Participate in organizing training for service providers on Adolescent Youth Friendly Health Service Delivery (AYFHS)
Ø Develop strategies to increase young people’s access to youth-friendly health services.
Ø Work with the program manager to design and implement programmes and activities serving young people.
Ø Build and maintain relationships with local schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote adolescent youth-friendly health services.
Ø Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Ø Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in AYFHS.
Ø Prepare timely reports of services provided to the Programme Team Lead
Requirements
o Must be a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria
o Experience working with young people on youth-related health issues and the ability to communicate with youths at their level.
o At least one (1) year of experience in clinical practice with a valid practising license.
o Familiarity with public health issues, especially as they affect adolescents and young people
o Staying around the Mainland and its environs
